New Private Destination in Nassau, Bahamas
Royal Caribbean has just dropped its best look yet at its newest private destination in Nassau, Bahamas. Dubbed the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, this exclusive beach club is set to open on December 23 and promises a complete vacation experience for those aboard Royal Caribbean ships.
Comprehensive Amenities
The video preview of the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island offers a near-finished look at the facility. It showcases finished pools, cabanas, ferries, art installations, and beach zones. One of the most exciting features is a fleet of brightly colored custom-built ferries designed to transport guests directly from Royal Caribbean ships to the private pier on Paradise Island.
Local Influence
The Bahamian influence is evident throughout the club’s design. Royal Caribbean has partnered with 11 local artists to create murals and other installations, making the destination a true representation of Bahamian culture. According to Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean, “We spent a lot of time listening to what people wanted, and this is it.” The island was developed in collaboration with local Bahamian architects and cultural advisors.
Family-Friendly Zones
The Royal Beach Club includes dedicated family-friendly areas such as Chill Beach. This area features yellow wood-planked cabanas that serve as a full-day “home base” for guests. The central pool stretches over 400 feet, with shallow ledges overlooking the crystal-blue Bahamian waters.
Unique Attractions
Other unique attractions include a dry-wet slide built into the two-story family cabanas and the world’s largest swim-up bar called Floating Flamingo. Additionally, Party Cove provides a lively atmosphere with DJ-hosted events for adults. The destination also offers an all-inclusive day pass covering ferry transportation, Wi-Fi, unlimited food, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
According to Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer, the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island is “the ultimate beach day” for Royal Caribbean guests.
Emily Esquilin, Senior Product Manager, adds that it represents a “white-paper opportunity,” the first in a new class designed from the ground up.
With construction nearing completion and previews accelerating, Royal Caribbean appears poised to launch one of its most ambitious private-destination projects yet. The opening is set for December 23, and fans are already calling it “paradise.” As the cruise line continues to invest in enhancing the onboard experience, this new beach club promises to be a standout addition.
