The New Frontier: Expanding Travel Options with Affordable Fares
Denver, November 20, 2025 β Frontier Airlines is taking a significant step towards enhancing its network and offering more affordable travel options across the United States. The airline has announced the launch of four new routes that will begin operating in early 2026, adding to its existing fleet of destinations.
New Routes and Their Impact
Starting on January 21, 2026, Frontier Airlines will introduce thrice-weekly nonstop service between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). This new route is expected to provide travelers with more convenient connections for both business and leisure trips. Simultaneously, the airline will launch twice-weekly nonstop flights between Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and Tucson International Airport (TUS), beginning on January 22, 2026.
On February 13, 2026, Frontier Airlines will expand its network even further by launching two new routes. These include thrice-weekly nonstop flights from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Chicago OβHare International Airport (ORD), and twice-weekly nonstop flights from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Pensacola International Airport (PNS).
Celebrating the New Routes
To mark these significant additions, Frontier Airlines is offering special fares starting at $29. This promotion aims to celebrate the continued growth of Americaβs Low Fare Airline and encourage more consumers to explore new travel opportunities. Josh Flyr, Vice President of Network and Operations Design at Frontier Airlines, expressed excitement about the new routes: “These new routes will offer consumers more affordable connections across the United States beginning in early 2026.” He emphasized that with ultra-low fares and enhanced customer experience, Frontier is poised to become Americaβs Low Fare Airline.
Enhancing Travel Experience
In addition to the new routes, Frontier Airlines has introduced several product enhancements. These include UpFront Plus seating, which offers extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft. Customers opting for this seating option will enjoy window or aisle seats with extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat.
The airline is also offering unlimited companion travel for its most loyal customers, providing them with greater flexibility when choosing their travel companions.
Frontier Airlines is set to debut First Class seating in early 2026, combining unmatched comfort and space at affordable prices. This move underscores the airlineβs commitment to redefining low-fare travel and building “The New Frontier” as Americaβs Low Fare Airline.
Frontier continues to innovate with its industry-leading frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles. Members of this program can earn miles quickly and get rewarded for each dollar spent on Frontier products.
The program offers a standard 10X multiplier: $1 = 10 miles, increasing at every elite level up to 20X. Elite status is attainable at only 10,000 miles and offers perks such as priority boarding, seat selection, and free bags depending on the status level.
Frontier Airlines remains committed to offering its Low Fares Done Right and expanding its network to more consumers in more places. The companyβs focus on affordability and customer satisfaction has made it a leader in the low-fare airline market, and these new routes and product enhancements are part of that ongoing commitment.
