Van de Zandschulp’s powerful groundstrokes made quick work in the first set, which he won 6-3. However, De Minaur dug deep to claim the next two sets, forcing a deciding tie-break that saw him triumph by 7-4.

“I’m happy I got through,” De Minaur said after the grueling match, “It wasn’t looking too good about three quarters of the way through, but I managed to find some better tennis at the end of the second set. Another great mental effort.”

The Frenchman Ugo Humbert is on a roll. His 10th consecutive ATP Tour quarter-final win over Christopher O’Connell was a one-sided affair, with Humbert racing to a 6-4, 6-1 victory in just under an hour.

Bublik’s Milestone Victory
Alexander Bublik overcame Jaume Munar in a thrilling three-set battle to notch his 200th tour-level victory. The Kazakhstani showcased remarkable composure and hit a staggering 61 winners against Munar’s 31, despite facing nine break points.
“He played unbelievable,” Bublik said after the win, “I faced him last time at Wimbledon. He is one of the only Spanish players who can serve and volley that well. I was surprised.”
