Like RBL, Mamelodi Sundowns follow a playing identity that developed in the 1980s under coach Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala. Known as “Shoe Shine and Piano,” this possession-based style emphasizes sharp passing, quick interchanges, and precise link-up play.
