Expanding Medical Aesthetics Practice in Casper, Wyoming

In a move that enhances its offerings, Jen Galloway FNP-C has recently welcomed Shawn Snyder DNP and Kara Turner BSN, RN to her team. This expansion comes at a time when the practice is committed to providing advanced medical aesthetics services, ensuring patients receive natural-looking results while fostering a sense of confidence.

Nurse Practitioner Expertise and Background

Shawn Snyder DNP brings extensive experience in primary care and urgent care before transitioning into his current specialty. Snyder graduated from the University of Wyoming with his doctorate in 2015, followed by five years of practice in various medical fields. He then chose to delve into aesthetics due to his passion for helping individuals gain confidence through their appearance.

“I guess for me, because I do hormone optimization, weight loss and aesthetic treatments, the way I look at the services that I offer is that I just want people to have confidence,” Snyder explained. “I want them to have confidence and feel good, inside and out.”

Existing Team Member’s Journey

Kara Turner BSN, RN has been a nurse for more than 24 years, with significant experience in family practice before transitioning into dermatology. She returned to medical aesthetics after spending nearly 14 years as a stay-at-home mom. Turner shared, “That’s actually how I met Jen; she was doing aesthetics part-time and she mentored me quite a bit.

And then, when she left to go to school to be a nurse practitioner, I was fortunate enough to get her former position.”

Turner has been with the practice since 2019 or 2020 and has continued to work in aesthetics ever since. She values her role in helping patients feel refreshed and confident. “That’s why I enjoyed doing it and why I wanted to continue to do it,” Turner said.

Practice Philosophy and Services

Jen Galloway FNP-C believes that medical aesthetics should be treated with the same rigor as other medical practices, emphasizing science over vanity. The practice offers a range of services including Botox, dermal fillers, various types of skin care treatments, and more. “Botox and Jeuveau are FDA-approved neuromodulators injectable products that cause temporary paralysis of the muscle,” Galloway explained. “This prevents contraction of the facial muscles to help correct and prevent lines and wrinkles.” Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are hyaluronic acid-based and designed to correct age-related volume loss in various areas of the face.

Both services aim to provide subtle, natural results that enhance a patient’s appearance without drawing attention to the treatments. “The most common complaint we get is that people feel like they look tired,” Galloway noted. “They want to feel refreshed and look refreshed, and that’s something that we can help people with.”

Commitment to Safety and Patient Trust

The team at Jen Galloway FNP-C places a strong emphasis on safety and patient trust. They maintain strict adherence to training and regulations set by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing. “We feel like the best treatment is one that goes mostly unnoticed,” Galloway stated. “When you leave here, we don’t want people to be like, ‘Oh, you just had a bunch of filler put in your face.’ We want patients to feel better about themselves and understand that less is often more.”

Turner added, “All of us take a lot of pride in being able to provide our Casper community with exceptional healthcare in wellness and aesthetics. It’s all rooted in education, experience, and safety.” The practice also ensures that their medical director, Jen Galloway FNP-C, is on-site for every procedure, providing the necessary support if complications arise.

With a focus on both physical and mental well-being, Galloway’s team aims to help patients feel more confident in themselves. “I want my patients to walk away feeling like they were listened to, that their concerns were validated,” Galloway concluded. “I want to know that they trust me.”
