Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the lineup for PlayStation Plus’ Essential games in November 2025. Members will have access to a trio of engaging titles, including “Stray,” an innovative puzzle-platformer-adventure set in a futuristic dystopia.
Stray: A Cat’s Dystopian Journey
“Stray” is the standout title from BlueTwelve Studio, released in 2022. This game immerses players as a cat navigating a harsh and mysterious city. As the official review noted, “it’s more than just an adventure; it’s a psy-op made for people who love cats.” The game is compatible with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
EA Sports WRC 24: Racing Simulations
“EA Sports WRC 24” is the latest iteration in Electronic Arts’ and Codemasters’ World Rally Championship racing series. This title allows players to design and drive their dream rally cars, taking part in both recent events and major historical highlights. The game will be available on PlayStation Plus via PlayStation 5.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator: Strategy with a Twist
“Totally Accurate Battle Simulator” (TABS) is a humorous strategy game developed by Landfall Games. Players can remix historical battles, featuring an array of cartoonish and exaggerated combatants. As the review stated, “But they’re not, in the least sense, historically accurate.
They’re cartoonish and floppy.” The game will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The free games offered through PlayStation Plus’ Essential tier will remain accessible until December 1, 2025. Members can also still enjoy October’s offerings such as “Alan Wake 2,” “Cocoon,” and “Goat Simulator 3” up to November 3, 2025.
