In the lead-up to their indoor season, High Point University’s men’s and women’s track and field teams have meticulously planned a series of 13 meets. Starting in December, they will compete at Liberty Kick-Off on December 4th in Lynchburg, Virginia, followed by the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 7th.
After an initial break, the Panthers will return with back-to-back weekends. They will participate in the Virginia Tech Invitational on January 16th and the Hokie Invite from January 23rd to 24th. The indoor season concludes with the Big South Indoor Championships in Tryon, North Carolina, from February 27th to 28th. Following this, athletes that qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships will compete in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on March 13th and 14th.
Outdoor Season and Key Competitions
The outdoor season begins on March 13th at the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Elon University. The Panthers will host their first meet of the season on March 20th and 21st at Vert Stadium, followed by competing in the Bod Davidson Team Challenge presented by Norris Woody.
Throughout April, High Point will travel to various locations for key competitions such as the Duke Invitational in Durham, North Carolina, and the 44 Farms Invite in College Station, Texas. The month ends with the Charlotte Invitational from April 24th to 25th.
Kicking off May, they will participate in local events like the Aggie Classic (Greensboro) and the Duke Twilight (Durham).
The season concludes with the Big South Outdoor Championships at Vert Stadium from May 11th to 13th, followed by the Dani Palooza Last Chance meet on Sunday, May 17th.
