Sting Operation Reveals Extent of Prostitution Activity
The Glenpool Police Department, along with several other agencies including the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office and Catoosa Police Department, conducted a sting operation targeting individuals soliciting prostitution. The operation was carried out on Thursday, October 23, at a hotel in Glenpool.
Operation Details
The investigation began through training exercises hosted by non-profit Skull Games, bringing multiple agencies together for collaborative efforts. According to Chief Jeremy Plane of the Glenpool Police Department, the operation was not preplanned but evolved from training sessions that helped identify and apprehend targets.
Arrests and Background
The five men arrested were identified as Rohan BhoJwanti, Mathew Eddy, David Raridon, Christopher LeBleu, and Jeremy Fair. Four of the suspects were from Tulsa, while one came in from out-of-state.
Religious Leader Under Scrutiny
Jeremy Fair, a senior pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, was among those arrested. The church’s leadership immediately placed him on indefinite leave and is working through the denomination’s prescribed process to address the situation. A statement from the church leadership read: “On Thursday, October 23rd, the church leadership of Christ Presbyterian Church was made aware of the arrest of Senior Pastor Jeremy Fair.
The church leadership immediately met and placed Jeremy Fair on indefinite leave, and are now working within the denomination’s prescribed process. This is an ongoing investigation and we do not have all the details at this time.”
Investigation Process and Outcome
The suspects were identified through a website that transitioned to texting as they approached the hotel for their meeting with undercover officers. None of the men were residents of Glenpool, indicating a broader network involved in soliciting prostitution.
“They were all individuals that contacted through the channels that we were using for the investigation individually,” said Chief Plane. “None of them were together. They all arrived on their own at different parts of the day.”
The sting operation highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat solicitation activities in Glenpool and the surrounding area, emphasizing the collaborative nature of multi-agency operations.
