Kirk vividly recalled seeing Charlie lying in the hospital with a smirk on his face. “That smirk,” she said, “is that look of ‘you thought you could stop what I’ve built. You thought that you could end this vision, this movement, this revival, you thought you could do that by murdering me. You got my body, but you didn’t get my soul.'” Her words were a testament to the resilience and determination of her late husband.
