Big Ten Network Broadcasts for Maryland Lacrosse in 2026
The excitement is building as the college lacrosse season approaches, with Maryland Terps fans eagerly anticipating their team’s broadcasts. According to press releases from the Big Ten Network (BTN), both the men’s and women’s teams will receive significant airtime on the network this upcoming season.
Men’s Lacrosse
The men’s lacrosse team is set to have a packed schedule of televised games, with four straight Saturdays featuring conference matchups. These games are expected to draw top viewership as they represent some of the season’s most anticipated contests.
- March 21: At Penn State (3 pm)
- March 28: At Michigan (TBD time)
- April 4: Versus Ohio State (6 pm)
- April 11: Versus Rutgers (6 pm)
These games are part of the nine announced regular-season broadcasts, with Maryland sharing the most appearances on the network with Ohio State and Rutgers. The final game of the season against Johns Hopkins is likely to be broadcast by BTN but could also air on other networks.
Women’s Lacrosse
The women’s lacrosse team will have four games aired, including a non-conference matchup and three Big Ten conference games:
- March 19: Versus Penn (8 pm)
- April 9: Versus Northwestern (6 pm)
- April 16: At Michigan (8 pm)
- April 18: At Ohio State (4 pm)
The women’s team will also have the highest number of appearances on BTN, tied with Ohio State and Northwestern. The network will stream all regular-season games, plus the conference semifinals and championship games.
Timeline and Additional Details
The Big Ten Network has announced that it will air one additional game which is yet to be determined. Maryland’s opener at Syracuse on February 13th might be broadcast by ACC Network Extra, while the rest of their conference games are expected to stream on BIG+.
