called. Stephen called me, and it was so lovely to get a call from him,” Rogers adds. “And Greg Rikaart stayed in touch, as did AnnaLynne , and my makeup person at the show.”
Return to Work
Rogers completed treatment on July 31 and is now looking forward to her return. “I’m feeling really good,” she enthuses. “I start back to work next week, so we’ll see how that goes. Now, I’m feeling anxious like I do any time I get scripts because I want to do my very best and you don’t want to hold up anybody.” Despite the challenges of recovery, Rogers is grateful for her support network and confident in her ability to return to work.
Days of our Lives continues to air, with Maggie’s absence explained by the show’s upcoming hiatus. “At least the audience will know why,” Rogers explains. She remains focused on gratitude and positive outcomes as she returns to the role that has been a cornerstone of her career for five decades.
