Robinson and Lindstrom Named to 2026 Pro Bowl

The Atlanta Falcons have two notable players selected for the upcoming 2026 Pro Bowl Games, with Bijan Robinson and Chris Lindstrom both making the roster. This recognition comes as the NFL released the NFC and AFC rosters on Tuesday morning.

Robinson’s Consistent Performance

Bijan Robinson has been a standout running back for the Falcons since joining in 2023, earning his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection this year. He leads the league with an impressive 2,026 yards from scrimmage as Week 17 begins, breaking the 2,000-yard mark already. His exceptional performance is further highlighted by his consistent production; he has six games this season with at least 150 yards from scrimmage, more than any other player.

Lindstrom’s Unwavering Consistency

Chris Lindstrom, an anchor on the right side of the offensive line, has been a steady presence for the Falcons since their 2019 draft pick. He is known for his remarkable consistency, having missed only 10 out of 980 offensive snaps this season. His performance has been recognized with a PFF grade that ranks him fifth among all right guards in terms of snap count.

Head Coach Raheem Morris’s Praise

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris highlighted the contributions of both players during his recent press conference. “Bijan Robinson is absolutely a phenomenal player,” Morris said. “I’ve been calling him the best player in football all year. Arguably I got a lot of love for that guy and what he brings to a football team, not just as a player but as a human on the field and off the field. Everything that we ask from our players and what a Falcon looks like is Bijan Robinson.” Lindstrom’s dedication was also acknowledged by Morris: “There were weeks that (Lindstrom) couldn’t quite practice full and do all the things that he’s capable of doing during a practice week, and he did everything for his football team to go out there and play and finish these games and play these games.

And he continues to do it. The mentality, the tough guy, the attitude, the swagger β€” everything that you talk about from being an offensive lineman and a leader and a captain for our football team, he’s exemplified that at a very high level.”

Other Falcons Represented

The Atlanta Falcons also have Kyle Pitts Sr. listed as the No. 2 alternate for tight ends and A.J. Terrell Jr. as the No. 4 alternate for cornerbacks. While Robinson was initially an alternate last year, Saquon Barkley’s decision to drop out of the Pro Bowl allowed him to take over the newly vacated spot.

Pro Bowl Format Update

The Pro Bowl will see a change in its format this year, operating as a flag football game on February 3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Additionally, there will be skill competitions leading up to the main event to showcase players’ athletic abilities.

The Falcons have now had 84 players chosen since the Pro Bowl’s inception in 1951, showcasing their long-standing success and talent development within the organization.
