Patterson’s venture into the podcasting world is an extension of his Substack video series, “Hungry Dogs,” which was inspired by his grandmother. She was a staunch supporter of his writing career, often encouraging him with words like “hungry dogs run faster.” The first two episodes of the podcast are set to air on October 29 and will feature Dolly Parton and B.J. Novak. Additional guests lined up for future episodes include Kathy Bates, Stacey Abrams, Josh Gad, and David Baldacci.
