  • Ashlyn Taylor, a senior swimmer from Gibraltar Carlson, played a key role in helping her team clinch a league title at the Downriver League Championship. She excelled in two individual races, achieving personal bests with a time of 1:02.21 in the 100-yard backstroke and another personal best of 2:18.79 in the 200-yard individual medley.
  • Eleanor Williams, a junior right-side hitter from Romeo, contributed significantly to her team’s success as they entered the tournament unranked but managed to upset the No. 7 seed, Utica Eisenhower, with a thrilling 3-2 victory. Throughout the matches, she recorded a remarkable two-game total of 35 kills, 21 digs, four blocks, and five aces.
