October Performance: Norse Atlantic Airways Surpasses Expectations
In October, Norse Atlantic Airways continued to deliver strong performance metrics with a load factor of 92%, marking an increase from the previous year’s figure. This achievement underscores the airline’s consistent success in maintaining high occupancy rates across its operations.
Load Factor and Passenger Growth
The load factor for October stood at 92%, up by two percentage points compared to the same month last year (October 2024). This is a significant milestone, as it marks the twelfth consecutive month where Norse Atlantic has achieved a load factor above 90%. The growth in passenger numbers reflects an increase of 12% over the previous year, with the airline transporting 132,913 passengers across its network and ACMI/charter operations.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Outlook
Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO, Founder, and major shareholder of Norse Atlantic Airways, commented on the airline’s performance. “Norse Atlantic consistently delivers industry-leading load factors and double-digit passenger growth on the back of our data-driven commercial model, affordable airfares, and a truly great product,” he stated.
Larsen also highlighted the progress in partnerships, noting that the airline’s collaboration with IndiGo was progressing as planned. By October’s end, four airplanes were operating under long-term ACMI charter agreements. For winter operations, Norse Atlantic expects to leverage its growing charter operation and seasonal routes connecting Europe with Asia and South Africa, which are anticipated to provide resilience and stimulate customer demand.
These strategic moves position Norse Atlantic Airways for continued growth and value-creation in line with the airline’s long-term strategy. As the industry navigates challenges such as air traffic control delays and airport congestion, Norse Atlantic’s focus on operational excellence and strategic partnerships remains a key differentiator.
